Basil mint (''Mentha x piperita var. citrata'' 'Basil mint' ) is a cultivar of Lemon bergamot mint (Mentha x piperita var. citrata) which is a form of Peppermint. It has a flavor different than both of its relatives, however; instead it tastes like a combination of Basil and Peppermint.

Leaves and flowers can be dried.

Using

Leaves can be used fresh or dried and can be used to make tea. Lime mint is good in oils and vinegars.[1]
